Arnox, a comprehensive operator in the field of processing and sale of rare and technical gases, has summed up the results of its activities in 2024. Its key achievements include entering new market segments, in particular, the launch of rare gas supply for the space industry.

“In 2024, we faced a decline in demand for rare gases in the semiconductor industry due to inventory accumulation and an increased supply of cheap raw materials from China. Thus, our team intensified its search for new target markets. Following lengthy negotiations, we launched a supply of products for the needs of the European window industry and the space industry in the USA, Europe, and Asia,” comments Sviatoslav Bohach, Director of the Industrial Gases Department at Arnox.

During the year, more than 17 thousand m³ of rare gases were sold, and the said volume was exported. The main export destinations are the USA (60% of total xenon sales), the UK (66% of krypton), Taiwan, Korea, Belgium, Poland, Germany, and France. The largest sales volumes were for neon, 94% of which was supplied to Asian countries.

Rare gases such as xenon, krypton, and neon are used in the semiconductor, space, and window industries. In 2024, the consumers of Arnox products were, in particular, a US company specializing in the development of power plants for satellites, a UK manufacturer of insulated glass units, and a Taiwanese supplier of microprocessors.

In the technical gases segment, Arnox also showed growth: in 2024, 16 thousand tons of products were sold, which is 11% more than the previous year. The largest increase was recorded in the oxygen category: +26% compared to 2023. 97% of the produced technical gases were consumed in Ukraine, mainly for the needs of metalworking and other industrial operations, and another 3% were exported to the EU countries.

During 2024, UAH 1.85 million was invested in upgrading equipment at one of Arnox’s rare gas production sites. In 2025, it is planned to make significant investments to upgrade production facilities for further expansion of supply capabilities.
