Argon is the most abundant noble gas on Earth and, therefore, it is extensively used in a wide range of industries.
Argon is used in the electric arc welding of non-ferrous metals and corrosion-resistant steel as well as the production of titanium and specialized steel grades.
The valuable property of argon is its low heat conductivity. Filling the windows with argon instead of ordinary air makes them twice as efficient in terms of heat insulation. For the same purpose, argon is used as an insulation gas for technical diving dry suits.
